Although I was born in New London Connecticut, as a young child I was raised in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. It was during these formative years that I began to develop my passion for art. Since my father was a musician, Jazz became an endearing source of inspiration for me. My father encouraged and inspired me to continue developing my skills as an artist. It was during our time spent together that I fell in love with the process of creating impromptu art while I listened to him playing jazz. I am an abstract and expressionist artist. I express myself by drawing  or painting figuratively to create representational art, mainly in the human form. I enjoy telling story of the human condition through my art. I fully embrace pushing patterns and textures of color in various and harmonious manners until I reach a place of my own solitude. Through this process, I am able to create heart wrenching images which speak in rhythms that flow off of the canvas lyrically. I really love the freedom I discover through expressing my thoughts in multidimensional art.
